Account Manager

Location: Austin

EBG is headquartered in Aventura, FL (Miami area), with offices in New York, Las Vegas, Orlando, and Austin 

EBG seeks a positive and passionate individual that is committed to becoming a service industry leader. The Account Manager is responsible for the management of our current clients to update accounts, develop deeper relationships and overcome challenges to drive end users and grow our new customer base. The Account Manager will drive sales for our Austin office through increased users and subscribers to the platform as well as upselling voluntary benefits into accounts. The Account Manager will receive the tools, training, and systems necessary for them to "BE GREAT.”

 

Essential Functions

  • Leverage relationships in an assigned set of existing accounts to prospect and close new business opportunities
  • Create and nurture long term relationships with EBG’s most valuable customers
  • Drive retention and growth among our customers by understanding their specific business needs and helping them succeed
  • Utilize resources across EBG and collaborate with others as needed to support customer needs
  • Deliver the EBG value proposition clearly and persuasively to a variety of audiences within the Human Resources department of Enterprise Clients
  • Maintain an active pipeline of forecasted sales to meet quota objectives while working through each opportunity
  • Log activity (phone calls, emails, opportunities, meetings, etc.) in Salesforce.com
  • Embody EBG’s culture and values

 

Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ experience in a Direct Sales, Customer Success, Relationship Management, Account Manager or similar role
  • Growth mindset
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships, while working to increase engagement, renewals and reducing churn
  • Hunter mentality with on the fly problem solving skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced or high growth company
  • Professional experience with Salesforce.com, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Empathetic, positive attitude with a desire to reach company, customer, and personal goals

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Persistence, creativity, and an overwhelming will to succeed
  • Experience working in employee benefits or perks
  • Knowledge or Licensing of Property/Casualty or Life/Health Insurance
