Fifteen years ago, I co-founded EBG with the vision of bringing fun and happiness to people’s lives. The goal was to simplify travel and entertainment by developing a unique online platform that would connect businesses and their employees to the world’s greatest travel and entertainment brands.
Our startup tech venture began just as it sounds – small. From our early days working out of a living room, we leveraged connections in the local area and did a little bit of everything to get our idea off the ground.
It wasn’t always easy – we had our fair share of ups and downs, a lot of wins and a few losses. There were many days when the goal was just surviving – from nearly running out of money to losing a roof on one of our first offices. But the focus always was and still is about building strong, valuable relationships with our partners and providing exceptional service.
Fifteen years later, I am honored and humbled to say we are more than 400 employees strong, operate offices in 4 cities, manage a network of 8 brands, work with thousands of top travel and entertainment partners, maintain relationships with over 40,000 corporate clients, reach over 60 million users and generate millions of admission tickets and hotel room nights annually.
None of this would be possible without all of EBG’s employees, past and present, who have poured their talents, energy and passion into building this company. I am humbled and proud to have such an amazing team of people behind me.
