EBG is headquartered in Aventura FL (Miami area), with offices in New York, Las Vegas, Orlando, Connecticut, and Los Angeles.

The Vice President, Market Management reports to our Senior Vice President of Business Development and is responsible for overseeing, developing and leading the strategic and tactical functions of the Hotel and Hotel Chain relationships of EBG, which includes small to complex initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in hotel ecommerce operations including vendor negotiations, Open Travel Alliance, market operations, online sales and solid managerial and operational knowledge. The person hired into the role will develop EBG’s Hotel Sales and help Entertainment Benefits Group ensure agility and effectiveness as we grow.

As the VP of Market Management, the key objective is to guide expansion of EBG’s network of hotel partnerships and accommodation inventory supply through building, establishing and maintaining account relationships. This individual willleverage their experience in procurement, e-commerce, revenue management and the hotel/travel/hospitality industry. The VP of Market Management is expected to identify trends, optimize pricing, ensure content competitiveness and identify and secure potential sources of supply to satisfy consumer demand on EBG websites.

Some travel (less than 20%) is required and will mainly be to other offices or vendors.


  • Build strong supplier relationships and convincingly explain the strategic benefits of the EBG distribution channel to grow bookings, revenues and gross profit in hotel sales
  • Create, plan and prioritize projects based on strategic objectives, cost/benefit considerations, risk, timing, capacity and interdependencies.
  • Evaluate existing partnerships and determine actions to optimize performance.
  • Define, document and iterate on the key processes including roles, activities, artifacts, workflows and change processes. Continuously assess process to ensure new opportunities to increase effectiveness.
  • Recommend and execute strategies and promotional activities with hotel partners to maximize EBG’s accommodation availability and content competitiveness
  • Assure understanding and control of sync points and dependencies within the portfolio.
  • Tracking and reporting of budget vs plan.
  • Serves as primary contact for senior leadership on hotels status, objectives and issues.
  • Be a source for leaders that can be deployed into operational roles.
  • Ability to lead groups, employ strategic thinking, and direct involvement in delivering against targets
  • Understanding of software development and infrastructure project lifecycles
  • Ability to assess the impact of new project requirements on an existing team workload
  • Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion
  • Complete special assignments necessary to support business strategy

  • Recommend and execute strategies and promotional activities with hotel partners to maximize EBG’s accommodation availability and content competitiveness
  • Identify regional supply requirements in terms of product offerings and promotions to meet market demands
  • Create business case to facilitate new product creation or enhancements of existing technology, reporting and tools
  • Use out-of-the-box thinking to develop and implement solutions to unique challenges
  • Conduct market research
  • Prepare presentations and materials
  • Manage regular weekly/monthly supplier and internal reports


  • 10+ years of a proven record of successful Hotel Market Management including managing large-scale initiatives through all phases of its life-cycle.
  • Previous experience as Vice President or Senior Director involving hotel market management
  • Hands on person, not an ivory tower type of person.
  • Hands-on experience in project/portfolio resource planning, reporting, prioritization, and resource budgeting.
  • Three-five years of experience in sales, e-commerce and/or revenue management, highly preferred within hotel, travel or hospitality industry (especially OTA channels)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence external/internal stakeholders
  • Ability to research, prepare and communicate various proposals to potential and current hotel partners
  • Success in acquiring, building and maintaining long-term customer relationships
  • Excellent command of English language, both written and spoken
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Strong problem-solving, analysis, and planning skills
  • Adapts well to and is energized by changing and dynamic workplace and industry
  • Possesses creative and innovative instincts and the ability to translate ideas into reality
  • Thrives as a team player demonstrates a strong work ethic
  • Ability to create, refine and implement process and methodology.

  • Ability to support executives to develop budgets for projects and activities.

  • Strong Vendor management and procurement experience.
  • Demonstrate ability to advance multiple priority assignments concurrently and within established deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
