Digital Marketing Analyst

Location: New York

SUMMARY:

The Digital Marketing Analyst supports the company's Marketing, Sales and Operations teams with reporting and analysis for all of EBG’s e-commerce platforms. This role is part of the Database Marketing and Customer Insights team and is the company’s SME for all site analytics across multiple e-commerce sites and brands. The Digital Analyst is proficient in multiple web analytics solutions, implementation and troubleshooting of advanced tagging and measurement, attribution models, A/B and multi variant testing and aspires to acquire new areas of analytics expertise on the job.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Dashboards and reporting: Work with internal stakeholders and 3rd parties to create, maintain and distribute performance / KPIs dashboards using

  • Adobe Analytics
  • Tableau
  • Excel

Site behavior analysis and optimization: Use Adobe Analytics to diagnose issues and identify opportunities.

  • Closely monitor all KPIs and flag variances
  • Identify friction points in the purchase funnel and recommend optimizations
  • Monitor performance of new products and pages
  • Measure effectiveness of traffic sources including email, paid media and retargeting campaigns
  • Monitor impact of different product mix and merchandising tactics and recommend optimizations

Data integrity:

  • Manage relationship with Adobe Analytics, ensure all required tags are in place and working properly
  • Support Marketing managers to implement new tags and / or testing platforms
  • Work closely with Technology team to implement and optimize tracking and measurement

SUCCESS METRICS

  • Create and institutionalize insightful marketing dashboards
  • Glean insights from data and effectively communicate opportunities to multiple internal audiences from Executive Leadership to marketing coordinators and technology partners
  • Become the “go-to” resource and subject matter expert for web analytics at EBG
  • Build strong, productive relationships with external partners

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors’ degree
  • 3+ years of marketing analytics experience, including
    • Web and mobile analytics – tagging, measurement, reporting
    • Proficiency in Tag Management Solutions: Adobe Tag Manager, Google Tag Manager
    • Data visualization
    • A/B and multivariate testing
    • Multi-channel attribution
  • Proficiency with multiple analytics tools
    • Adobe Analytics / Omniture
    • Google Analytics
    • Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to flourish in fast paced environment and quickly shift priorities to accommodate business needs
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Occasional travel

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Travel and/or Entertainment industry experience
  • Experience with Tableau and other data visualization tools
  • SQL proficiency  - ability to query relational databases
  • Experience with database architecture and coding
