Director, Partner Development - Ticketing Integration

Location: New York

Director of Partner Development - Ticketing Integration will oversee all live entertainment ticketing system and box office partnerships for EBG’s music, sports, and touring events. This position will work directly with leadership, partner development, technology teams, and operations to create effective onboarding practices scalable for significant growth. The ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders is integral to the success of the position. The Director must excel in a deadline driven environment while working efficiently and accurately. This position requires experience with API connections and ticketing system integrations and event builds. Candidate will have established relationships within the Live Entertainment ticketing industry.

Responsibilities

  • Program and maintain all live entertainment events by working directly with contacts at API integrations (Ticketmaster, AXS, Outbox, etc.) and box offices.
  • Monitor live entertainment events and API integrations for accuracy, functionality, and optimization
  • Act as API Integration and Box Office lead contact to quickly resolve any errors or challenges
  • Identify opportunities to create efficiencies with existing processes
  • Work in tandem with supplier partnership team to adhere to existing functionality for event listings and fulfillment options with the ideal guest experience as the priority
  • Track and maintain availability and releases of tickets/allotments for live entertainment events
  • Work with the Product Management team to identify and communicate future event requirements to ensure box office and ticketing system considerations are included in our internal ticketing system development
  • Create and maintain an SOP for efficient and effective communication with ticketing system and box office contacts for event builds and troubleshooting
  • Establish strong rapport with technology, web production, operations and partner development teams
  • Maintain knowledge of current ticketing trends in entertainment industry
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must have 5+ years of experience in similar position with significant knowledge of API integrations, box office operations and live event ticketing
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ticket software, event programming, price tables, and ticketing holds and opens
  • Strong and effective written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve, collaborate and multi-task, while maintaining details and sustaining a high quality of work
  • Self-starter who is able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and deadline-driven environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft applications 
  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with Ticketmaster (Host and Archtics), AXS, Outbox and other systems
  • Knowledge and extensive relationships throughout the live entertainment industry
