Digital Optimization Manager

Location: New York

The Digital Optimization Manager is responsible for continuous improvement of the digital experience to align with customer expectations. This is achieved through support of strategic initiatives around site functionality, maximizing conversion rates and success metrics across sites. They will be primarily focused on key areas of the consumer purchase funnel, developing and executing test plans

The Digital Optimization Manager is also highly proficient in web analytics, measurement strategy, and tagging including implementation and troubleshooting.

The right candidate will be collaborative and inquisitive, constantly seeking solutions to key business challenges while working to establish a strong testing culture within the organization.



Site behavior analysis and optimization

  • Use analytics tools to diagnose friction points, underperforming experiences, and identify new opportunities
  • Identify friction points in the purchase funnel and recommend tests and optimizations to improve performance
  • Monitoring of KPIs; proactive analysis of performance and test planning including:
    • Performance of sites, pages, and products
    • Effectiveness of campaigns, roll out of new features and experiences
  • Ad hoc reporting as needed

Program Management

  • Create, maintain and communicate; roadmap, dashboards, status updates
  • Own and manage testing backlog
  • Work in adobe to set up campaigns across sites and marketing channels
  • Ongoing performance analysis and insights reporting for key stakeholders
  • Communication on progress and learnings with the executive team
  • Work closely with technology team to implement and optimize tracking and measurement

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Attend and actively participate in performance meetings
  • Partner with business leads and SMEs to propose, define, and implement test ideas
  • Lead brainstorms and workshops
  • Lead a cross functional team that includes designers and developers
  • Communicate status updates to the organization on an ongoing basis and present monthly updates to leadership

The successful candidate will

  • Continue to grow testing and optimization as a critical component to continuous learning and Improvement
  • Create and institutionalize insightful testing dashboards and reporting
  • Glean insights from data and effectively communicate opportunities to multiple internal audiences from Executive Leadership to marketing coordinators and technology partners
  • Be the “go-to” resource and subject matter expert for testing at EBG
  • Build strong, productive relationships with external partners



  • Bachelors’ degree
  • 3+ years of ecommerce and marketing analytics experience, with a strong focus on
    • A/B and multivariate testing
    • Purchase path optimization
    • Web and mobile analytics – tagging, measurement, reporting
  • Proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative research methods including use of multiple analytics tools
    • Adobe Analytics / Omniture
    • Session recording tools
    • Heat maps
    • Google Analytics
  • Ability to collaborate and work cross functionally across multiple business units and IT
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to synthesize data and develop insights that inform next steps
  • Flexibility to flourish in fast paced environment and quickly shift priorities to accommodate business needs
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Occasional travel



  • Ticketing industry and / or travel industry experience
  • HTML and JavaScript a big plus
  • Proficiency in Tag Management Solutions: Adobe Tag Manager, Google Tag Manager
  • Data visualization
  • Experience with Tableau and other data visualization tools
